Coaching Information

Coaching Requirements 2025/2026:

1. Complete the Volunteer Application Google Form: https://forms.gle/ziQdEcwkTZPkXEqu5

2. Complete the Hockey NL Membership Application: https://hockeynl.ca/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Hockey-NL-Screening-Application.pdf

*Submit the completed application to the St. John’s Minor Hockey office at
administrator@capshockey.ca . This is required to be updated every 3 years.

3. Apply for a RNC Code of Conduct/Vulnerable Sector Check. These have to be completed every 3 years.

4. Complete “The Shift Forward” coaching program: https://register.hockeycanada.ca/clinics

5. Complete any required coaching courses as they become available.

Accessing Your Coaching Profile

We reimburse for any coaching courses that you complete. Please submit your receipt to
administrator@capshockey.ca once you complete a coaching course
