Call For Nominations
The Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) for St. John’s Minor Hockey Association (“SJMHA” or “the Association”) will be scheduled for late June 2025. In preparation for the AGM the Association is issuing a Call for Nominations for positions on the Board of Directors that will become vacant at the AGM.
The following Board of Director positions are up for election for a two (2) year term at the June 2025 AGM:
- Vice President
- Director of Female Hockey
- Director of All Star Hockey
- 2-Director At Large Positions
The following Board of Director positions are up for election for a one (1) year term at the June 2025 AGM:
- Director of U11/U13 Hockey
Any voting member of SJMHA interested in standing for election for any of these positions must submit a written request to be nominated by email to Jodi Blackwood at administrator@capshockey.ca by 4:00 pm on Friday, May 23, 2025. Those members interested in learning more about what is involved in these positions are encouraged to contact any member of the current Board of Directors.
