Metro Minor Ball Hockey

Registration for the 2025 edition of the Metro Minor Ball Hockey League (MMBHL) is NOW OPEN!! Please click on the “Registration” tab on the top of the homepage at https://metrominorballlhockey.teamsnapsites.com/

Please be aware of the following info for the upcoming season.

The MMBHL is open to all players that reside in the city of St. John’s - Avalon and Caps Minor Hockey (excluding Southlands and Goulds) and in the geographical boundary of the Northeast Minor Hockey Association. All activities will take place at the DF Barnes Arena Monday to Thursday twice a week for a minimum total of 15 sessions.

An important note for this year is only players registered in leagues will be eligible for play in the NL Ball Hockey Association Provincial tournaments. The MMBHL plans to enter teams in all divisions of play this year. The MMBHL will endeavor to offer play for the following divisions;

U11 - Ages 2014,2015,2016

U13 - Ages 2012 and 2013

U15 - Ages 2010 and 2012

U18 - Ages 2007,2008,2009

Senior Female - Ages 16 and above

Junior Female - Ages 15,14,13,12

The season will begin the week of the May 24 holiday and will run for eight weeks. First week will be player evaluation for team selection. Six weeks for games and potential provincial tournament team evaluations and one week for league playoff and Championship games. A mock schedule will be released in the coming weeks as registrations start to come in.

Registration is NON REFUNDABLE. Players that wish to register and not pay by credit card can certainly do so by doing the following. They must complete the registration form right to the part where you are prompted for payment. At that point you can stop there and then send the fee by e-transfer to stevepowernl@hotmail.com Please identify the player you are paying for in the e-transfer. The cost for players is $225 and for goaltenders is $150. Your registration includes individual player registration with the Newfoundland Labrador Ball Hockey Association and also includes player insurance coverage offered by Canada Ball Hockey.
